Model Railway Trackplan
"Derwent Main"
Derwent Main was designed to offer flexible operation for a range of operator numbers and experience. The layout design of this OO scale model railway allowed at least three trains to operate simultaneously. The layout was "retired" after the Society move from Haig Pit to the Whitehaven YMCA, as it had suffered considerably from the environment whilst at Haig Pit. The motive power depot remains and is in the possession of one of our members.
